"Shit, I'm late to class."
(set: $key to it + 1)\
Casey changes her clothes and brushes her teeth, making a checklist of the day.
Today is the day of the final presentation for Macroeconomics.
'Yikes. I hope I don't mess up. Maybe I should practice a bit more.'

Rehearsing the presentation one last time in front of the mirror, Casey feels much more confident, and as she heads towards the doorway, she notices something strange with one of her pictures on her desk.
'I don't have time to check it out, I should get going.'
She should:
[[Check out the Picture]]
[[What are you doing? You don't have time! Go to school.]]Nice! You have everything, should you do anything else?

[[Nah]]'That's so weird. I didn't want to look at the picture, but it's like my body has a mind of it's own'
Casey picks up the picture and studies it. It's a picture of her family, her Mom, Dad, and herself. However, on closer inspection, there's a part of the picture that's blurier than the rest. She squints, trying to make out the figure in the photo.
It looks like a bo-
"Casey! You're gonna be late to [[school]]!" Mom yells.
Casey puts the picture down and runs out the door.

Casey ignores the photo and the weird feeling it brought, and heads to [[school]].
You realize that you're able to control Casey's actions, even if her thoughts go against the action. Use this power wisely. A Year Ago
Casey and her parents were on their way back home from a vacation to California when suddenly, a tree in front of them fell down, not allowing enough time for Dad to use the brakes.
Although it was a nasty crash, both her parents and Casey survived after several weeks in the [[hospital]].
Casey gets to class on time and sits next to one of her only best friend in school, Alex.
"You ready for that presentation?" Alex asks.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
Alex nervously laughs and says, "Hey, I know you don't like talking about this, but I found a Therapy Center for PTSD. I know you've been through a lot this past year, and I thought that this might help."
'No way I'm going to accept it, I can't believe that Alex would think I need help too. I'm so sick of it. I'm fine!' Casey thinks.
Casey should:
[[Accept her help]]
[[Tell her, "No."]]"Thank you so much! I'd love to learn more!"
Alex beams with happiness, "Of course, anything for my best friends! I'll email you with more information."
'What the-'
Casey looks around in confusion. She can't believe she just accepted his help, it's as if someone else was controlling her.
*That's cause we're here*
Casey's eyes open with surprise. "What? Where?"
*We're in your mind*
Casey gasps aloud, grabs her backpack, and runs [[outside]].(set: $key to it + 1)\
"No way."
Casey stands up, furiously, and heads out the classroom.
'I don't need any help. Not from Alex, not from my classmates, not from ANYBODY. I can get through this myself.'
Feeling a craving rising through herself, Casey heads to the park next to the school.
Should she:
[[Smoke]]
[[Try to stop]](set: $key to it + 1)\
Casey lights a cigarette and smokes, looking up into the sky.
"Evan!"
Casey snaps back into attention when she hears that name. For some unknown reason, she begins to sweat and a bubbling of emotions erupt from her inner body.
She watches as a boy, probably Evan, waves to the other guy who called his name.
Casey slowly calms down.
'Why did that name make me feel so sad?' she wonders as she leaves to her [[presentation]]."I said that I'm going to smoke! Stop telling what to do!"
[[Smoke]](if: $var is "A")["Ahem...My presentation is about..."
Casey's presentation goes smoothly without any trouble.
'Thank god I practiced this morning.']\
(else:)["Ahem...My presentation is about...AHH"
Casey's presentation goes roughly with a lot of mistakes throughout the entire thing.
'I shoud've practiced more this morning']
After Econ class, Casey heads home when she sees Alex around the corner talking to Stella, one of Alex's friend.
"I can't belive that Casey is still like this."
Casey freezes with the mention of her name and quickly hides around the corner to hear more.
"Ever since the death of Evan, she's been like a living corpse. She's helpless."
Evan?
[[Who's Evan?]]
(set: $key to it + 1)\
PUNCH!
Alex falls down, blood running down his nose.
"What the hell?" Alex exclaims.
"So I'm helpless huh?"
"Look, I'm just trying to help you get better. You haven't said his name once since the accident, and I'm worried for you."
"Who?!?" Casey shouts. "WHO?!?"
"Evan! Your fuckin brother who died in the car crash!"
Shock overwhelms Casey's body.
'What?'
Still in shock, Casey runs [[home.]]"WHY ARE WE WALKING AWAY? YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME LIKE THIS," she yells at you.
Casey is forced by you to walk away and head [[home]]. Casey slam the door open, seeing her Mom jump in surprise from her sudden arrival.
"Wha-"
"Did I have a brother who died in the car accident last year?"
Mom looks at Casey with sadness in her eyes.
"Yes sweetheart, your brother did die. After your recovery, we discovered you had forgotten everything about Evan due to PTSD. We didn't want to force anything out of you, so we were waiting patiently-"
[["Stop! I can't hear this!"]]Casey runs to her room, and slams the door behind her.
Evan. Evan. EVAN.
The pain of remembering scorches her brain.
I want to forget. I NEED TO FORGET.
Images fly through her mind with mind-numbing speed.
Everything spins around her, and Casey wishes that she could [[forget]] about Evan just like she woke up this morning. Everything goes dark[[.]]

Casey arrives at school, barely making it on time. As she enters the halls, she keeps her head low, not wanting any unwanted attention or pity, especially after the [[car accident]] from last year.Casey runs outside until she reaches the park.
She stops at the greenery, and as she catches her breath, she says, "Who are you."
[[Rena]]
[[Jeremy]]
[[Sophia]] "What are you then? Cause you have the ability to change my actions."
I'm just
[[controlling you.]]
Just kidding, [[I'm your inner conscious]]
"AHHHHH!", Casey yells.
"Get out of my head, you crazy thing!"
She picks up a rock and starts to bash it on her head.
"GET OUT, GET OUT!" she continuously yells. Her head begins to bleed.
What should Casey do?
[[Stop i-]]"Got it, so please stop making decisions for me that I know that I'll regret. Like accepting Alex's help. Don't do something like that ever again. I don't need other people's help, let's just figure things out ourselves."
//[[Fine]]//
//[[No Way]]//Casey drops to the floor in a pool of blood, dead.
You slowly fade out of existence as her eyes lose their last flicker of life.
The End"Great, now I've been craving a cigarette."
Casey will:
[[Smoke]]
[[Try to stop]] "Ha! Your funny! Of course you will! Your my inner conscious!"
'If only she knew what I've been doing this entire time,' you mutter underneath your breath.
"Great, now I've been craving a cigarette," Casey says.

Casey's mind goes crazy. Memories flood of her and her brother. The times they played together, his smile whenever they played a prank on someone else. The pain of knowing that she could never see that smile again. The pain of losing one of her closest friends in the world.
PAIN PAIN PAIN

[[Suddenly everything in the room freezes]]Casey looks up to see her Mom frozen in midsentence.
"Mom?" she asks, wiping away her streaming tears.

You force Casey to ask for help.
"I wasn't ready yet! How can you force me to do something again? I thought I could trust you!"
Casey's Mom says, "Honey, who are you talking to?"
But Casey doesn't hear.
"How many of my actions are you controlling? Am I even capable of making my own actions? Have you been controlling me all my life? AM I EVEN ME?"
Mom runs over to the phone to call 911, and tells them, "Help! My daughter is mentally unstable."
Casey continuously accuses you of being her worst enemy until the [[police arrive.]]1 Week Later
Casey is admitted into a pyschiatric hospital and has been thought to gone insane. She's reported to continuously asks herself if she's really Casey and questions her own identity.
What should you do?

[[Hmm... that's strange]]You try to make Casey stand up.
Nothing.
To eat.
Nothing.
To speak to you.
Nothing.
You are no longer in control of Casey. After all, you can't control a broken brain.
The End
Casey and her Mom hug each other, sobbing about their shared pain for Evan.
Casey looks up at her Mom and says, "Yes, let's get through this together. [[Please help me]]."6 Months Later
Casey and her Mom have been seeing a pyschologist for the past few months and are both recovering from their grief and depression successfully.
After one appointment, Casey walks home, happy to be alive in the present.
She heads to the market to buy
[[Cheetos]]
[[Coffee]]
Thank you for helping me get through this. I was wrong thinking that I can work things on my own. I can genuinely say that I'm glad that I reached out to others for help or else I might not be here today.
Although the pain from my brother's death is still there, I won't be tied down by it anymore. The only thing I can do is to remember and keep the best parts of Evan to myself and move on.
I'm moving on, so I don't need you anymore.
[[Thank you for everything.]]After buy the Cheetos, Casey reaches her house and walks to her room.
She picks up the picture on her desk and sees her family in it once again.
Her Mom, Dad, Evan, and herself. All four of them.
Casey smiles. "Hey big bro, got you some Cheetos, your favorite."

The EndAlthough Casey escaped the car crash without being seriously harmed, she could not escape the pity from her classmates who constantly came up to her to ask if she was "okay" and to say that they felt "so sorry" for her. Before the car crash, it was as though she didn't exist, but now that she almost died, she's considered a celebrity to everbody?

Rage and grief builds within Casey. How dare Alex talks about her like that. How dare she talks like she knows everything. And Evan? Why does the name fill her up withh so much grief?
'I need to punch her RIGHT NOW.'
Should she:
[[Punch Alex]]
[[Walk Away]]
"But I can do this on my ow-"
//Casey, it's okay to rely on others. Just because you ask for help doesn't mean you're weak. When you work with others to improve yourself, you only get stronger.//
